I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the following new teachers to ISS:
Miss Kimberley Ball BSc (Hons) PGCE
Miss Ball has a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Teeside and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Primary Education from University College London (UCL). Miss Ball has been teaching since 2012 and she will be joining us in August to teach the Year 1 class.
Mr Matthew Roberts BSc (Hons) PGCE
Mr Roberts has a degree in Geography from Manchester University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Primary Education from Nottingham University. Mr Roberts has been teaching since 2014 and has been teaching at ISS for the past year as a support teacher in the Primary School. Mr Roberts will be teaching the Year 5 class from August onwards.
Miss Nicole Vanhoeck MSc (Hons) PGCEi
Miss Vanhoeck has been teaching at ISS for 2 years as a Primary school support teacher. She has a 1st Class honours degree in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Development from the University of Brussels and recently completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Primary Education from the University of Nottingham. Miss Vanhoeck will be teaching the Reception class from August onwards.
Mr Chris Holland BEng (Hons) PGCE
Mr Holland has a degree in Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Mathematics from the University of Leeds. Mr Holland has been teaching since 1995, is a very proficient sportsman and will be joining us in August to teach Mathematics in the Senior School.
We have four goodbyes this year; Miss Jade Hawkins, Miss Iceni Patterson, Miss Laura Spencer and Mr Mark Goode. I am sure you will join me in thanking them for everything that they have done and achieved here at ISS. We will miss them dearly and on behalf of the ISS community we wish them all the very best for the future.
