EDT Inspector visits ISS

On Thursday 14th and Friday 15th February, ISS was visited by David Bowles, our new education consultant from the Education Development Trust (EDT). David is a qualified and highly experienced school inspector, who visits schools all over the world in order to assess the quality of all aspects of the school. He is also part of the team of Ofsted inspectors, who routinely inspect and report on schools in the UK.

David's visit was extremely positive, and he particularly highlighted the priority the school places on pupil safety and wellbeing, as well as the excellent relationships between happy, engaged children and dedicated, passionate teachers. He saw first-hand the quality of teaching and learning taking place in all classes across the school and commented on the high level of questioning that deepens and broadens the children's understanding in all subjects.
