Chess tournaments for this academic year has already started. On 8th October our younger players (7 years old and under) spent their Sunday morning in our library to challenge their friends with a game of chess in the beginners' level. The following week, 15th October, students 13 years old and up had their chess tournament in the advanced level.

These chess tournaments are organised and managed by our ECA provider, Stan, who has been mentoring our students in chess for more than 4 years now. He holds 3 to 4 chess tournaments every year for our students and other children on the island.
