A Very Roman Christmas!
Did they celebrate Christmas in Ancient Rome? Not quite - but Year 7's Roman Legion did this morning, to mark the end of their Ancient Empire enquiry in their History lessons this term.

Sor Kor Sor: Sharing Happiness Through Art
Our Early Years and Reception students celebrated Thai culture by creating traditional New Year cards, Sor Kor Sor (ส.ค.ส.), which means “sending happiness.” They also learned that the very first Sor Kor Sor, dating back to 1866, was a royal greeting from King Rama IV. Through this hands-on activity, students combined creativity with cultural learning to share joy in their own cards.

Mr Andrews Welcomes Santa for His Annual Visit
Santa made his annual visit to the school, where he was welcomed by our CEO, Mr Andrews. Primary School students filled the room with festive cheer through their beautiful Christmas songs and received gifts for being such shining stars this year.

ISS Senior Christmas Bake Off
The senior students showed off their baking skills by entering a variety of desserts, cakes and confectionery in the first ISS Christmas Bake Off. It was tough for our three judges, P’Pop, Mrs Brien and Miss Esther, to decide who the winners were with so many amazing dishes to choose from. Sharing Stories, Building Bonds
'Tis the season of giving and last week Senior students from Year 8 gave up their time to read Christmas and Winter stories to the students in Reception class. The younger children were entertained by the magical storytelling and afterwards they treated Year 8 to a Christmas song which they will perform at the Primary Carol Concert. Building friendships and bonds between the Primary and Senior school creates a positive school environment for our last week of term.

Griffin Scores Big in House Handball!
Year 3 and 4 competed last Thursday in a hugely supported House Handball competition. The teams showed fantastic effort and sportsmanship throughout. Congratulations to Griffin, who emerged as the winners and secured a valuable haul of house points towards their end-of-year total!

Celebrating Creativity: Our Christmas Card Art Winners!
Our Primary students have been busy spreading Christmas cheer through their artwork! As part of our annual Christmas Card Art Competition, they created beautiful festive designs that were then voted on by the school community. Congratulations to our winners, who received certificates and prizes. The cards will be on sale at the ISS Christmas Fair this Tuesday, with proceeds going to a local charity.

ISS Sharks at the HeadStart Invitational Swim Meet – 28 Nov 25
19 swimmers from the ISS Sharks travelled to Phuket to compete at the HeadStart Invitational Swim Meet, delivering a day of determined performances and strong team spirit. Across the squad, swimmers achieved an impressive 99 personal best times, reflecting their consistent effort and commitment throughout the term.
