About Us
The International School of Samui offers an Internationally recognised standard of education which follows the famous British Independent School model. The school follows the British Curriculum supported by the University of Cambridge curriculum programmes, and has a very strong emphasis on giving every child the chance to shine.
We offer an extensive and stimulating curriculum covering a wide range of subjects and skills, as well as a comprehensive programme of after school activities, school trips, and excursions.
Everything the school does is designed to make learning enjoyable and to give every child the opportunity to develop a sense of confidence in themselves.

History
The International School of Samui (commonly known as ISS) was founded in 2007 by the President of the Executive Board, Mr Jeremy Lees, a UK Qualified Teacher, University of St Andrews graduate and former British Army helicopter pilot. Mr Lees handed over the leadership of the school in 2022 to the current CEO, Mr Stephen Andrews, and under Mr Andrews' leadership the school continues to grow from strength to strength.
The school currently caters for children from 3 to 18 years of age with an enrollment of 280 pupils from over 35 different countries.

Location
The school is located in the heart of the main business and commercial district of Koh Samui, between Chaweng and Bophut on the North East side of the Island. The school is clearly signposted next to Bandon Hospital and Big C shopping centre on the main ring road.
