Senior School
11 - 16 Years Old

The International School of Samui Senior School curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, and is supported by the Cambridge Senior Programme, taking the best elements of it, and adapting it to fit our very special location, making learning relevant to the unique setting of the school. Our curriculum offers depth, variety and quality. Students graduate from the Senior School with the internationally acclaimed Cambridge IGCSE certificate in Year 11, and then move on to study their Cambridge A Levels in the Sixth Form at ISS (Year 12 & 13), in preparation for University entry.

ISS endeavours to maintain a balance between both academic and creative areas of study, as while the study of academic subjects is an important part of a young person's education, life at the International School of Samui embraces many other elements and opportunities that contribute to the development of caring, confident young adults.

ISS has a highly professional, dedicated team of teachers who care sincerely about the well-being and progress of each individual learner, and in turn we are very proud to have students who are honest, respectful and hard-working members of society.
Our curriculum website has more detailed information about the individual subjects in our Senior School curriculum. We hope that in visiting this site you will be able to glimpse the creative and in depth aspects of our wonderful curriculum.
