Ahoy Classmates!

This half term the Year 1 topic was Ahoy Pirates during which the children learnt all about the life of a pirate.

Miss Ball took the children on a special school trip to the Red Baron ‘pirate ship’ to support the learning that they had been doing in class.

All the children dressed as pirates, and they started the day with a pirate themed game of pass the parcel, and later took part in a pirate dancing competition. To end the day our motley collection of seamen headed to the upper decks to look for pirates from the crow’s nest!
