Awakening Tradition: Primary Students Explore the Cultural Meaning of the Lotus Flower

Our primary students explored The Charm of Ancient Thai Flowers and Traditional Fragrant Plants, focusing on the beautiful lotus flower — “Dok Bua (ดอกบัว)”.

The students were captivated to learn that every visit to a Thai temple reveals locals offering Dok Bua while praying before Buddha statues. In Thai culture, the lotus symbolises purity, faithfulness, and spiritual awakening, making it one of the most meaningful flowers in Thai tradition.
