Congratulations Taisiya on winning the shark of the month award for February!
Taisiya has consistently been a top performer for the Sharks this year and she had her best month yet in February. Taisiya shone at the Thanyapura invitational hosted by Rocket Science, taking home the Sharks’ only gold medal in the 9-10 200m Freestyle. This was an amazing feat considering the level of competition and the fact that Taisiya is still only 9 years old, competing against 10 year olds.
Taisiya will not travel with the Sharks to the next Thanyapura open swim league meet, she has a much more important competition to attend, she will be representing the Sharks competing at national level in the Singapore national age group championships. She will be going up against some of the strongest swimmers in South East Asia in this prestigious event.
