ISS Footballers Shine at Marlborough College Soccer 7s in Malaysia

This weekend our Footballers took part in their first international competition.

Our U18 boys and girls teams travelled to Malaysia to participate in the Marlborough College Soccer 7s.

We are immensely proud of both teams for their performances and the way that they represented both ISS and Thailand.

Our boys team demonstrated superb skill and team work throughout the competition and we’re looking likely to take third place overall before the bad weather resulted in an early finish.

Our girls were outstanding! Scoring 19 goals and conceding only 2 from set pieces. They impressed everyone with their performances and gained a lot of International fans. Unfortunately in football, things don’t always go to plan and despite dominating their final, it ended 0-0 and the penalties did not go their way.
