"The eleventh hour of the eleventh day" is the time at which Remembrance Day is observed, marking the end of the First World War and remembering armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
Students of all ages took part in a solemn ceremony led by the Headmaster, with poems read by the Head Boys and Head Girls, and observed a traditional two minute silence, with younger students creating artwork depicting poppies, which are symbolic of the lives lost in war.
