Modern Rock Art: A Creative Journey with Weiyi Li

Weiyi Li, our artist in residence, visited Thailand for the first time earlier this academic year and embraced the new environment with an open mind and enthusiasm. Over an action packed five weeks, Weiyi Li collaborated with ISS to facilitate a series of workshops under 'The Lab' initiative, an initiative where participants collaborated and inspired each other amongst the local community. Our students learned how to create delicate scans of their hands on the rock formations and Weiyi developed these into intricate modern day ‘Rock Art’, which is now on display in the school. We are grateful for the collaboration, which we all truly enjoyed.
