Melanie Ferris (year 7) has taken her love of acting and modelling to a new level in recent months. Melanie performed in a beauty pageant in Suratthani where she was spotted by a Thai modelling agency. This followed by a movie opportunity in Bangkok. She duely attended shoots in Bangkok and was trained up on her acting skills.
Her success in the competition led Melanie to further successes with the Max Model Agency signing Melanie up for further acting and modelling opportunities. This does mean many long weekends travelling to and from the island to attend rehearsals and training which Melanie adores. Her parents are very proud of her and as excited as she is with this new "hobby".
