Self-Esteem a High Priority at ISS

Writer's picture: ISS socialISS social

The ISS self-esteem group meets every Friday and is open to all Senior school students, with the aim of creating a safe space for sharing feelings and experiences, and for students to feel heard and valued by others. Miss Whitehouse uses active listening skills to pose questions that allow students to explore their thoughts, and activities to help students reframe their negative thoughts into positive thoughts and build their self-esteem.
