Following the basketball inter-house competition of our Senior boys, the girls had their first inter-house sports competition playing netball. Netball is a popular girls' sport in our school and around the world, and we are keen to develop our senior girls' competitive skills in this field.
Last year, some of our Senior girls flew to Singapore to represent our school in a to Southeast Asian Netball competition. It was our first major netball competition away from home and was a good motivating factor for our students to keep playing and practising the sport. We are hoping to be able to join more outside and international competitions like this as we build up our students' self-esteem, perseverance and sportsmanship.
