On Friday 4th October three of our Sharks travelled to Phuket to compete at the Thanyapura Super Sprint. Tom Maestracci, Lou Maestracci and Paul-Eric Larson-Drozd all competed in multiple events held over the course of three days. They competed in the 25m pool and the 50m pool in various sprint events. They all performed really well for their first meet of the year and all of three swimmers set multiple new personal best times which is a great start to the new season. They will now be full of confidence heading into next month’s Swim League.
A special mention has to go to Tom Maestracci who not only won the exciting Friday night elimination event but also came 3rd overall in his age group bringing home multiple medals.
