Thanyapura open swim league 2018/19 session one
It is time to start our preparations for the first swim meet of the year, the Thanyapura open swim league session one. As explained in my previous information pack, this will be one of three sessions as opposed to the four sessions last year. Our swimmers will compete with teams from the south of Thailand including the BISP Flying Fish, the HeadStart Aqua Panthers and the UWCT/Thanyapura Mantarays.
Since our first competition of the year is being held in November, it has given us the opportunity for some quality training before the meet and I am extremely happy with how the first month of training has gone. Attendance has been good and the swimmers are more focused than ever.
We will travel to Phuket on Friday 2nd November (which is during the half term break), departing Samui on the 10am Ferry from Nathon pier. We will return to Nathon on the evening of Saturday 3rd November. If you intend to drive to Phuket then I suggest you book your place on the ferry as early as possible as it can fill up quickly. There may also be room for parents to join us on the bus – I will be able to confirm this after I have the final number of swimmers attending and travelling with the team. I will send you more information after I received confirmation of your attendance.
Important information – Please read carefully
The total cost of the trip will be 4500B which includes all transport, entry fees, accommodation and all meals at Thanyapura.
