School farms offer numerous benefits for children. They encourage a healthy lifestyle and good eating habits and provide much needed opportunities for learning outside the classroom.
The ISS school farm is now officially open, and this week children enjoyed spending time with the chickens and rabbits learning how to raise healthy, happy animals, and in the greenhouses, learning some of the skills required to grow the food we eat.
