Welcome Back to School from the Headmaster of ISS

Updated: Mar 26, 2022

"What a wonderful week this has been.  Being able to welcome all our students back to ISS for the start of a new academic year, along with over 50 new students joining us this term, has been a great pleasure.  The school is abuzz with activity and laughter, with some amazing learning happening.   A special mention must go to our new and current families who are still waiting to get flights to Thailand.  Thankfully they are not missing out on any learning, as they are able to access all our lessons through our Blended Classrooms in a fully interactive and live manner, please click here for more information. It is a truly amazing sight to watch ISS students joining in our lessons live from Russia, Hong Kong, China, The Philippines, Korea, Italy, Spain, Andorra, Germany, Holland and the Reunion Islands.  We very much look forward to welcoming all of those families to ISS in person as soon they manage to get here.  Hopefully it is not long now for them! Finally may I say a big thank you to all our teachers.  Adapting so brilliantly to teaching in our new blended classrooms, with all the technology that has been introduced and without losing any of the traditional classroom feel, has been a monumental task, but you have all done it with exemplary professionalism and spirit.  In doing so you have ensured that not a single ISS student has missed out on any lessons, no matter where they are around the World!   I am very proud of you all. Thank you."
