Year 3 students have been studying Thai literature about Red Ants, so they visited our organic garden to learn about the structure of ants, and some of the traditional Thai foods containing ants or their eggs. They had a lot of fun cooking a traditional spicy ant egg salad from the North East of Thailand, with herbs and vegetables from the garden.
