Year 5 made parachutes for a 'Forces' unit Science lesson

For a 'Forces' unit Science lesson, Year 5 made parachutes with variable weights, measuring their speed in falling to the ground to test air resistance. They related this to soldiers who had to bravely jump to safety to link in with a 'World War' theme this half term.
