Year 5 students enjoyed a trip to an 188 year old Thai house

Year 5 students enjoyed a trip to an 188 year old Thai house (Baan Boran) to link with their Modern History topic. They learned about coconut farming, made Thai snacks (Kanom Duang) and had a tour of the traditional Thai house, which has been lived in for 6 generations. Afterwards, students enjoyed ice cream whilst playing and relaxing at the cafe surrounded by lily ponds.
