Congratulations to our Stars of the Week: Stan, Liam, Kennedi, Theo, Kailani, Eva and Mya!

As Year 5 enjoy their Space Topic this term, it was a pleasure to welcome back a regular guest speaker, Mr La Court, a former parent of the school. Students were keen to watch the videos and learn about exploration missions to Mars. With a trip to Space in a tuk tuk and watching Artemis II blast off, we had an out of the world experience in the Drama Hall!

The ISS Sharks had a successful day at the PISAC swim meet in Phuket with lots of PBs, finalists and medals. There’s a lot more racing to come tomorrow. Go Sharks! 🦈

Last weekend, ISS U15 girls won their first tournament together. Despite being the youngest team at the tournament, they worked really hard and made us all really proud by lifting the trophy at the end. Well done girls!

On Saturday, April 25th, the ISS Sharks, along with parents and teachers, took part in the Swim for Sharks charity event in Koh Tao. The 3.4km open water swim around Koh Nang Yuan was no small challenge, making it especially impressive to see so many parents stepping up and getting involved alongside the students. Little chefs in action! Our cooking class helps primary students build creativity, confidence, and essential life skills—one recipe at a time. This time, they made Nam Khaeng Sai (น้ำแข็งไส), a beloved Thai shaved ice dessert. Topped with colourful syrups and sweet treats, it’s the perfect way to cool down in hot weather—refreshing, fun, and delicious!
