ISS Sharks at the BISP Sea Eagles Invitational – Phuket
Last weekend, 34 ISS Sharks swimmers travelled to Phuket to compete at the BISP Sea Eagles Invitational, racing against 18 teams from across Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, South Korea, Myanmar and China. Our swimmers delivered an outstanding performance in the pool, achieving numerous personal best times and breaking several school records over the course of the meet. Honouring Local Children Completing the Swim4Life Program
Our CEO, Mr. Andrews, had the honour of presenting medals and certificates to local Thai children in Koh Samui who successfully completed the life-saving Swim4Life Program. Primary Students Explore Thai Food Preservation with Khai Kem
Our Primary students had a wonderful opportunity to learn about Thai food preservation by making their own salted eggs, or Khai Kem. This traditional Thai ingredient is created by curing eggs in a salt-based mixture, resulting in a firm egg white and a rich, oily orange-red yolk. After learning the preservation process, the students also used their homemade salted eggs to prepare a delicious Spicy Khai Kem Salad (Yum Khai Kem). It was a fun and hands-on experience that allowe
