ISS student; Aiden Kim, takes third place in International Kangaroo Maths Contest


On 30th March 2019, Aiden Kim, from Year 6 competed in the International Kangaroo Math Competition.


Kangaroo Math Competition (KMC) is an annual international maths competition for primary and secondary school students. The KMC is the largest maths competition in the world with more than 6 million participants annually, from 75 countries. The contest originated from France and is administered globally by the Association Kangourou sans Frontieres (AKSF).


Aiden did remarkably well in the contest, successfully taking a bronze award. The top 10% win the gold medal, the next 10% receive the silver medal and the final 10% win bronze. The competition was very tough, with many top international schools taking part.
