Senior students have been working hard in rehearsals for their adaptation of Arthur Miller’s play 'The Crucible'.
The students have been rehearsing Act 3, with Deputy Governor Danforth, played by Daran, intensely questioning the deceitful and manipulative Abigail Williams and Betty Parris, played by Ladfah and Namwa. Will Danforth find out who is to blame for all the hysteria and accusations of witchcraft in Salem? Will the lechery of John Proctor, played by Raymond, come back to haunt him? Will those who cross Abigail’s path be flung mercilessly into the Salem’s pursuit of witches, or will her plan for vengeance fail? The ISS production of The Crucible will be showcased on Saturday 23rd May, 18:00. More details will be released in the upcoming weeks.
