As part of their Term 2 topic: Modern Art
During this trip the students developed skills in forming opinions about artwork, developing language and conversation skills when discussing artwork and sketching techniques.
Once their discussions and observations were over, they headed to Choeng Mon beach for a picnic, followed by a short beach clean to coincide with their Geography focus this term: Looking After Our Island.
The school provided a picnic lunch for all children who receive school lunches and other students with special or specific diets brought their own food from home.
It was a complete day of learning outside school which the students of the International School of Samui enjoy at least once or twice in the academic year.
