At ISS, we provide our students with the opportunity to enjoy sports while building strong foundations in skills and knowledge. This term promises to be fun, challenging, and full of growth. We can’t wait to see the teamwork, dedication, and excitement unfold!

Our Thai culture class has recently been focusing on animals, and students were encouraged to learn about the Siamese Betta fish (Pla Kat). Pla Kat is an important national symbol of Thailand, representing resilience, beauty, and cultural heritage rooted in ancient traditions of fish fighting and selective breeding for vibrant colours. Students explored this rich history, created their own Pla Kat designs, and proudly presented their creations to the class.

This Term our students have been visiting Samui Elephant Haven, and will continue to do so until the end of Term 2. The students have so far learnt about the anatomy of the elephants, their history, as well as their diet. Last Friday we prepared elephant balls which the students have happily been feeding them. These are especially needed for the older elephants, who sometimes do not have any teeth left, as they fall out due to old age. Thank you for having us. #https://www.sa

To add further to the Chinese New Year Celebrations at ISS, the Chinese New Year Fab Café music performance will take place on Wednesday 4th February, 15:00-16:00 in the ISS Café. The Funky Ducklings, The Unjust Darlings, and Banned will perform a variety of songs to kick off the celebrations for the Year of the Horse. We believe that every student has something they are great at. That’s why we offer a wide range of Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) for both Primary and Senior students — from sports and music to personal interest clubs. Our ECAs help students discover their strengths, build confidence, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
